Peace4Paws Benefit Luncheon, Sunday, November 17, 2019

Peace4Paws an animal rescue group, founded and based in Westwood, NJ, presents a delicious luncheon to fund the medical care of homeless dogs in need on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Gerry’s Place, 595 Broadway, Norwood, NJ. There will be three courses of delicious Gerry’s Place "American cuisine with an Irish flare" that include wine and beer; there will also be a cash bar for other drinks. Other highlights include a 50/50 cash raffle, silent auction, raffle prizes, goody bags, and a door prize. This event will also honor outstanding Peace4Paws student volunteers and sponsors for their huge effort and commitment to the animals of Peace4Paws. The three students being honored are Lauren DiPalo, age 18, of River Vale, NJ (Ramapo University), Erin Lupo, age 20, of Hillsdale, NJ (Bergen Community College), and Laurie Wisnia, age 46, of Westwood, NJ (Bergen Community College). Peace4Paws will also honor three student/parent teams: Dylan Fitter, age 13, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ (Woodcliff Lake Middle School) and Dad, Brian Fitter, Sarah Forman, age 13, of Woodcliff Lake (Woodcliff Lake Middle School) and mother Sandra Forman, and Victoria Torres, age 14, of Hawthorne, NJ (Passaic County Technical Institute). 


Peace4Paws will also honor Outstanding Sponsors Old Tappan Veterinary in Norwood, NJ, The Pet Lodge in River Vale, NJ, and their Sponsor of the Decade Peter Rabcevics for design and technological contributions. There will be live performances by incredible vocalists Aidan Fox, age 10, of Washington Township, NJ (Washington Elementary School), Gabrielle Brayman, age 14, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ (Pascack Valley Highschool), Ava Patelsky and Cora Patelsky, both age 13, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ (Woodcliff Lake Middle School), and rising star pianists Daniel Felekos, age 5, of Norwood, NJ, ( St. Patrick’s School, Yorktown Heights NY) and Victoria Torres, age 14, of Hawthorne NJ (Passaic County Technical School) to enhance the award ceremony. The winners of the cash raffle, basket raffle, and cash 50/50 will begin at 4 pm, and winners need not be present to claim their prizes.

Seating is limited to 130 people, so it’s best to order ahead to secure a seat. In lieu of attendance, donations are very much appreciated to help Peace4Paws maintain its commitment to high standards in medical care, which this year included surgery for puppies who suffered from gunshots, saving the lives of puppies infected with the parvovirus, and more.
