Peace4Paws Benefit Luncheon
Peace4Paws presents a fabulous luncheon to fund the medical care of homeless dogs in need on Sunday, March 25, from 12:30pm to 4:30pm at the Granita Grill, 467 Broadway in Westwood, NJ. There will be four courses of delicious Italian food and BYOB. Other highlights include talented live singers, guitarists, silent auction, raffle prizes, cash 50/50, goody bags, and a door prize. This event will also honor two of Westwood’s outstanding businesses for their huge effort and dedication to helping Peace4Paws’ accomplish their rescue missions. These two businesses being honored are Lewis Drugs ( Lucille Nardello and Ken Wohl) and Westwood Pets (Susan Weinrich). They have provided supplies, funds, volunteer hours and expert advice on dog care, training, and medical for over a decade! Three local and one out of state volunteer will be honored for their service. The three local volunteers helped a pregnant female deliver her pups, keep them safe and find them great homes! They are Liz Capanzano (Closter), Sally Frank (River Vale), and Diane Weinstein (Washington Township). And being honored with the “Unstoppable Award” is Brandi Brice of Byhalia, MS.
Singers and guitarists are Peace4Paws volunteers who have strong professional or community experience in music and performance. Adult singers include Peggy O’Neill and Jennifer Cece of Westwood. Additionally, rising star super talented student singers include Gabriel Braymen (River Vale), Kayla Esposito ( Hillsdale), Kristina Gelber (Oradell) and Ava and Cora Patelsky (Woodcliff Lake). Guitarists include Steve Bushell (Woodcliff Lake) and Dennis Adams (Hillsdale). There should be something fun for everyone and great food too!! Tickets are $60 Adults, $55 Senior Citizens, $30 Kids Under 10 or $55 per ticket for table of ten. In lieu of attendance donations are very appreciated to help Peace4Paws maintain high standards in medical care – which this year – included surgery for two different dogs with broken legs, one eye tumor removal, saving the lives of parvo puppies as well as two blood transfusions for an anemic dog named Ruby at Oradell Animal Hospital. Westwood NJ born and based animal rescue group Peace4Paws presents a delicious luncheon to fund the medical care of homeless dogs in need on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 4:00pm at Buon Gusto, 534 Durie Avenue, Closter NJ. There will 4 courses of sumptuous Italian food and BYOB. Other highlights include silent auction, raffle prizes, goody bags, and a door prize. This event will also honor four of Peace4Paws outstanding student volunteers for their huge effort and commitment to the animals of Peace4Paws. The four students being honored are Dejua Nu͂nez, age 17, of Westwood (Westwood High School); Delaney Banek, age 12 , of River Edge (St. Peter Academy); Emily Thompson, age 20, of Northvale ( Bergen Community College) and Aidan Lee, age 18, of Woodcliff Lake (Cornell University).
